Fleming Island, FL - Fleming Island High School is proud to announce the official naming of its baseball and softball facilities, marking a significant milestone for the school's athletic programs. The baseball field will be called *Freedom Field*, and the softball field will be named *The Diamond*, honoring both the athletes and the coaches.

The decision to name the field was made after a thorough process involving school staff, students, and the local community. Both names were chosen to reflect the values and pride that Fleming Island High stands for.

The successful naming of the baseball and softball fields at Fleming Island is the result of the hard work and dedication of many individuals. Principal Thomas Pittman, Athletic Director Travis Cunningham, President of the Athletic Council Taylor White, Head Baseball Coach Mike Martino and Head Softball Coach Jennifer Bucklew.
